Sunderland Sunday League: Potters' promotion push rocked by Railway setback
Lewis Dodd had the second-top Potters in front with a goal from the kick-off, but it was in vain as Ryhope Railway dominated the rest of the game to take the win.
Star man Dean Machin scored, followed by efforts from Danny Austin and Jack McConville.

Hide AdThe Dolphin upset promotion hopefuls Hendon witha close-fought 2-1 win.
Jordan Sweeney put Dolphin in front with an early goal. Keith Reay hit his usual goal for Hendon, but Stephen Martin came off the bench to fire the winner to ensure glorious scenes at Tay Road.
Charlie Ayre shone for TC, but he could not do much as rampant visitors New Town thrashed them 9-0.
Kieran Russell, Charlie Salicki (2), Dan Warris and sub Mathew Thompson all scored, but the plaudits were reserved for four-goal star man Brad Foster.

Hide AdAFC Wearside and The Stumble Inn played out an entertaining game which saw Wearside snatch a narrow 3-2 win. Donnelly, Rose and Calvert scored for AFC, while Antliff and Robson notched for Stumble.
Luke Bell was at it again as he fired four goals to see champions TC Plastics record another win, 6-1 against Free Gardeners Arms.
Daz Green replied for the Gardeners, but further goals from Farquhar and McArthur sealed Plastics’ success.
Ashbrooke Sports Club have practically sealed a runners-up spot in Division Three, but they are hot on the tail of The Lansdowne, who only need one more win to seal the title.

Hide AdAshbrooke had the usual suspects on target in their 4-1 home success against Washington Colliery.
Nathan Renton, David Dixon, Clark Stead and Michael Brown did the damage, while Colliery’s only goal came from Keith Burnett.
They moved to 36 points from 14 games, to sit 16 points behind top spot with five games in hand.
The Lansdowne produced another dominant display as they outgunned Mountain Daisy F&M Underdogs 8-1 to take a step closer to the league title.
