Sunderland kept their promising run of form going with a 3-0 win over Burton Albion on Saturday – and fans have been quick to react on social media.

The Black Cats built on last weekend’s comprehensive victory over Doncaster Rovers with another assured display this afternoon.

Grant Leadbitter opened the scoring early on with a strike from distance before Lyndon Gooch doubled the lead with an eye-catching effort of his own.

Albion were reduced to 10 men shortly after the interval when Josh Earl saw red for a second bookable offence, and Lee Johnson's side hammered home their numerical advantage when Charlie Wyke notched his 18th league goal of the season after latching on to a through ball from substitute Jordan Jones.
