Priest caught speeding through residential streets
A priest was caught speeding through residential streets by volunteer police officers.
The priest was caught driving at 40mph in a residential 30mph zone.
He was stopped by some of Durham Constabulary's Specials, who were out in force to support officers during National Specials Weekend.
The Wear & Tees Special Constabulary then carried out a series of speed monitoring checks, which resulted in six tickets being issued in just 40 minutes.
