Two bungling boozers have been banned from the roads after a “comedy sketch” incident involving a kiss and a minor car accident in Sunderland.

Pals Scott Stokoe, 25, and Michael Rose, 27, were both over the limit when police stopped them in the same car on Thursday, February 27.

Stokoe, 25, of Pattin Square, Plains Farm, had been driving the Ford Focus when it hit the back of another vehicle at a junction in Southwick Road, also Sunderland.
