Minor injuries after two-car smash in Sunderland city centre
A two-car crash in Sunderland city centre left those involved with minor injuries.
The collision took place near to the Civic Centre and adjacent to Mowbray Park at shortly before 3pm today.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 2.50pm to a collision on Burdon Road, between two vehicles.
"The road was closed for a short time while the incident was dealt with.
"It has now been reopened.
"Those involved suffered minor injuries."
