'It's harsh on the fans!': Sunderland fans hit out after Accrington abandonment
The game at the Wham Stadium lasted just over 70 minutes before being brought to a halt, with the worsening weather conditions putting player's safety at risk.
Referee Oliver Langford brought proceedings to an end with the scores locked at 1-1, with Chris Maguire's strike for the Black Cats cancelled out by Connor Hall's scrappy finish.

Hide AdAnd Sunderland supporters were quick to air their views on the postponement, with many blaming Langford and suggesting he should have called-off the game prior to kick-off.
