12 locations with most crime reported across the north of Sunderland, according to latest data

The 12 places with most crime reported across north Sunderland have been revealed by new figures.

The Home Office data, published on its www.police.uk website, covers Northumbria Police’s Sunderland North policing neighbourhood.

All incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations in August 2023.

1. Wearmouth Street, Monkwearmouth

There were 25 incidents, including 21 anti-social behaviour offences, reported 'in or near' this location

There were 13 incidents, including five anti-social behaviour offences, reported 'in or near' this location

There were 10 incidents, including five shoplifting offences, reported 'in or near' this location
